GUEST ANNOUNCEMENT

Friends, our final guest announcement for Rock and Shock 2019 is none other than acclaimed writer, director, occasional actor and local success story Adam Green! If you’ve been to Adam’s home town of Holliston you can imagine how difficult it must’ve been to leave. A beautiful throwback and alternative to the hustle of most cities (they just got a traffic light in the center of town a few months ago), staying there for life was the easy choice. But Adam knew he had to chase his dream so off to LA he went, and through dedication and work ethic survived the culture shock of LA and the politics of Hollywood to build a career as well as a very loyal fanbase. In the thirteen years since he debuted with Hatchet, Adam has given us sequels to that series as well as Spiral, Frozen, ‪Digging Up the Marrow‬, web series like Horrified and his annual Halloween short, the weekly Movie Crypt podcast, and, of course, the series Holliston. Let’s welcome Adam Green home once again this ‪October 11-13‬!

GUEST ANNOUNCEMENT!

With every role, Derek Mears continues to cement his place in film and television history. Whether acting or doing stunt work, in heavy, full body makeup or without, Derek brings relatability, passion and sincerity to each of the wide variety of characters he plays, and his realism, even in outrageous situations, is why he stands out and his career is still rising. He has perhaps never been better than in his role as Swamp Thing from earlier this year, and he has also shown his skills, in horror, sci-fi, comedy and more, in projects like Friday the 13th (2009), Alita: Battle Angel, Sleepy Hollow, Dead Snow 2: Red vs Dead, Holliston, Hatchet III, The Hills Have Eyes II (2007), and so much more. He is one of the most kindest and sincere people you could talk to, and he’ll be with us at the DCU Center this October 11-13 to meet you all!

GUEST ANNOUNCEMENT!

Fresh off his return to the role of Otis Driftwood in 3 From Hell, Rob Zombie’s latest and perhaps final film in the Firefly family franchise, Bill Moseley is coming back to Rock and Shock! Last year at the show he was legally unable to talk about the movie, but this October the gag is off! He’ll be here to answer all your questions about that film as well as talk about his numerous other projects with Rob Zombie, his breakthrough performance as Chop Top in Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, or any number of his other classic parts in movies and shows like Army of Darkness, Night of the Living Dead (1990), Carnivale, Silent Night, Deadly Night 3: Better Watch Out, The Blob (1988), Repo! the Genetic Opera, Dead Air, Texas Chainsaw 3D, Holliston, Smothered, and so many more. He is a class act, a fan favorite, and a horror legend, and he’ll be with us in a few short weeks at Rock and Shock!
