William Sanderson is one of the most reliable actors in the business, having worked steadily in film and television since his start in 1976. His instantly recognizable face has gained him popularity from his roles in Fletch, Lonesome Dove, Walker: Texas Ranger, Deadwood and Newhart, but genre fans will also know him from Blade Runner, Sometimes They Come Back, The X-Files, Lost and his long standing role as Sheriff Bud Dearborne on True Blood.
